REMINISCING MY TRIP TO SEOUL (PART 3)

Highlights of my trip part 3 :)

10.Gangnam K-Star Road (070516)
Gangnam in southern Seoul also has the story of its own. Long before the international pop sensation Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ brought worldwide attention to this district, it has been the most stylish and trendiest area in Seoul. As backdrops for many films, TV dramas and other shows wanting to project Seoul and Korea of today, it is filled with special places like *Hallyu stars’ favorite hangouts and entertainment agencies.

Super duper cute Gangnamdol!!!

Hallyu Stars ke ni???? ahahahah

Shahzuan vs Kim Dong Wan

11. Mango Six Posco Branch (070516)
Mango Six Posco Branch located in Daechi-dong near Gangnam area is the café where the drama ‘The heirs’ was broadcasted. One of my favourite kdramas because of Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Choi Young-Do (Kim Woo Bin). I ordered Mango Coconut just like Kim Tan and Young-Do did...hehe

Feeling2 as if Kim Tan and Young-Do were here

12. Insadong & Ssamziegil (080516)
Insadong has a long history of being the street lined with shops and galleries displaying and selling art, traditional handicraft shops, street market shops selling handmade Korean candy, street food, home decorations, and what not! The street is lined with trees on both sides and has creepers growing on many of the buildings along its alley ways.

This wooden building is actually designed in such a way, that as you walk into it, the floor spirals its way up until the roof.

13. Coffee Price Café, Hongdae
The first shop and the actual filming location of The 1st Shop of the Coffee Prince. The café looks exactly as it is in the Kdrama from the wall painting to the bar area and the cutesy window doodles. However, the café looks old and rundown, hence that could be the reason why we were not allowed to go upstairs. The barista (an ahjushi) is not friendly at all.

On top of that, the shop has a 1 person 1 drink policy, probably they know that tourist visit their café just to take picture. So with that policy we have to force ourselves to buy at least the cheapest drink in the list. Well they tasted alright, there's nothing spectacular but as expected they were a bit expensive.
