Alhamdulillah last Thursday, Awien dapat berbuka puasa with my besties :) I'm so blessed and grateful. We managed to keep our friendship until today and i pray that this friendship will last forever. Insya-allah. Alhamdulillah semalam Awien dan kawan-kawan office berbuka puasa di Restoran Ayam Bakar Wong Solo Sdn Bhd . No.57, Jalan Raja Alang, Kampung Baru, 50300 Kuala Lumpur. (near Masjid Kg. Baru).  Sebelum ni pernah makan kat Ayam Penyet Ria & Ayam Penyet AP je. First time try Ayam Penyet Wong Solo ni which Awien pun tak pernah tau ada kat Kampung Baru...bila compare balik, Wong Solo TERBAIK!!! Thanks to my friends, Vee and Nana for the recommendation. Memang sedap dan lazat :) Harga pun berpatutan dan menu banyak pilihan. Tempat pun selesa dan dekat dengan masjid. Easy to park your car jugak sebab ada available carpark nearby (one of it memang next to the restoran, RM3 per entry). Cume jalan sesak sikit semalam sebab ada bazar ramadhan along the road. Dah lama nak update on this family trip tapi baru hari ni berkesempatan. Alhamdulillah pada bulan Jun yang lepas, Awien dan family (parents plus younger brother) berkesempatan pergi ke Kelantan untuk menghadiri majlis perkahwinan one of my BFF, Nurul Hafiza. We all bertolak ke Kelantan pada hari Khamis, 21 June petang dan bertolak balik ke KL pada hari Sabtu, 23 June tengah hari, both by flight. We decided to take flight sebab agak jauh kalau nak drive plus i pity my parents if travel jauh-jauh by car plus time saving, at least we have more time to spend in Kelantan rather than spending time for the journey. Alhamdulillah, i was able to fully sponsored the whole trip for all four of us including flight tickets, accommodation, foods and car rental. I'm so happy to be able to do this :) This is one of the ways for me to repay my family for their love and supports towards me, my career and my business. Plus, i did promise my younger brother that i will bring him "jala...

When most of us are grateful and happy to welcome Ramadhan this coming weekend, 18 Malaysian students (including my younger brother) who are currently studying  in IOWA University, US are being tested by Allah just before the Ramadhan. Their South Meadow Apartments on South 5th Street, Ames city, Iowa, US  was burned and destroyed in a fire which began in the early Sunday morning (US time), July 15 2012. Alhamdulillah most of these students are back in Malaysia for summer holidays including my brother and some of them are on tour in US. Only few of them are spending their summer over there. My younger brother managed to talk to his housemate,    Shafiq Mahadi who were there during the incident   on Sunday night (Malaysian time) and Alhamdulillah he is safe with the other 3 Malaysian students. No one was injured. But they are traumatized with everything that just happened in a split second. As for my brother, he was glad that he was back in Mal...

More "Kodak" moments

Alhamdulillah, one of my new year's resolutions which is to complete THREE marathons this year  has been fulfilled. I am so happy and proud to have completed these three running events. I have proved to myself, my family and friends that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE -  because i'm possible :) My first and second running events was 10km Brooks Marathon and 7km TM Fan Run respectively. My THIRD m was on 24th June 2012, 10km run Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon 2012.    It was a very pleasant run for me and i did enjoy myself.  In the beginning, i doubt that i will be able to complete this SCKL 10km run. WHY?? Because  I haven't done any preparation for it. Luckily I ran for 7km TM Fan Run just a week before the SCKLM i.e. on Sunday, 17 June 2012. So that's the only "preparation" that i did before the SCKL marathon. Of course i did ensure i take a balance diet a week before the run. I was supposed to rest and eat and rest more the day before...
